Vampires And Goth

Myths and human minds are closely related. A mythical creature is an out-pour of human imagination onto paper. It is as intriguing as it is unconvincing. To many people it is convincing… Getting their facts verified may end up tragically for those who believe mythical creatures exist. Let’s talk about the most popular mythical creature –

VAMPIRES:

All interesting novels from Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles to Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series have added their personal touch to the gothic creature, Vampire.

Strike 1: Vampires are Goths. According to some they may be vicious and evil blood-drinkers. But Stephenie Meyer proved them wrong. Vampires could be charming and faithful.

Strike 2: Vampires exist. Living in the mortal world where humans have taken science and technology so far, can people actually believe in ancient myths and legends? That might sound more lame than fascinating to most. The human imagination has made this gothic being so alluring and captivating that people get carried away, misled and pretend to be so. People in many parts of the world are engaged in repulsive activities like drinking animal blood and killing humans because of the Goths!
Does that stop us from taking pleasure in them? No!

Strike 3: Vampires are human blood-drinkers. For those of you who don’t know, human mind’s eyes ‘see’ vampires of different kinds.
Sanguinarians are the human blood-drinkers. These are most commonly found in the grotesque tales and novels.
Psychic vampires are supposed to drain vital power humans in order to survive. Though not mentioned in many tales they are equally spellbinding as the blood-suckers.

We have all learnt to form opinions on the enigmatic creature – Vampire, without inferring anything out of the debate. The entire argument drops down to a CIPHER. Yet we must say they are master-pieces of human imagination! Let us hope I don’t disappoint the many ‘vampire’ fans existing on the earth….
